We are honored to announce that City Homes LLC has received the Green Path Leadership Award from Housing First Minnesota. This recognition is especially meaningful as our first Green Path Builder Award. We are grateful to our dedicated team, valued partners, and clients whose support made this achievement possible.
As builders of high-performance, healthy homes, we champion renewable energy solutions and initiatives to reduce carbon footprints. At City Homes LLC, we're leading the transition toward environmentally conscious housing. Our baseline construction standards feature 96% efficient HVAC systems, 16 SEER condensers, and smart, efficient appliances. We also prepare every home for solar panels and electric car chargers.
We believe sustainable construction and energy efficiency are crucial in creating a greener future. To ensure quality and transparency, all our projects undergo rigorous third-party testing by RESNET-certified raters. This process maintains high energy efficiency standards while giving our clients confidence in their homes' performance. Our ongoing education in green building practices helps us continually improve our standards and deliver cutting-edge, energy-efficient homes.
City Homes has strengthened its environmental commitment through partnerships with Energy Star and Zero Energy Ready Homes. We've also earned our Green Path Certification, highlighting our dedication to building homes with minimal environmental impact. These certifications reflect our commitment to sustainable living spaces and energy efficiency. Through these partnerships, City Homes has become a leader in environmentally conscious home building.
Every home we build receives a HERS rating, and our company average is 42—notably better than Minnesota's average of 50 and the national average of 58.
City Homes LLC embraces our role in transforming the housing industry through energy efficiency, sustainable practices, and continuous improvement. We thank Housing First Minnesota for this honor and look forward to our continued partnership in building a greener future.
