Built for a family in Edina, this home takes a clean, modern approach while still feeling warm and comfortable for everyday family life. The exterior makes a statement with crisp white stucco, dark trim, strong horizontal rooflines and dramatic black-framed windows, including a two-story wall of glass at the front of the home that brings natural light deep into the interior.

The architecture is modern without feeling stark. A covered front entry adds depth to the façade, while the three-car garage is integrated into the design with contemporary doors and windows. The contrast of the white stucco against the dark architectural details gives the home its distinctive, graphic look.

The backyard was designed as an extension of the family’s living space. A large covered outdoor room connects directly to the house and opens onto a generous patio and lawn. Wide openings make the transition between inside and outside feel almost seamless, creating an easy place for everyday family time as well as larger gatherings and entertaining.

What stands out most about this home is its balance. Bold architecture and large expanses of glass give it a distinctly modern personality, while the scale, outdoor spaces and thoughtful layout keep it grounded as a comfortable family home. It’s contemporary, but designed first and foremost around how a family actually lives.
