Designed for a family who wanted a home that was both functional and fabulous, this Lake Minnetonka residence brings a fresh perspective to classic Colonial Revival style. Traditional architecture and timeless materials create an elegant backdrop, while the spaces themselves were designed around everyday family life and entertaining on the lake.

Applied molding throughout the home adds depth and architectural character, while marble countertops bring a sense of luxury and permanence from room to room. Rather than reserving beautiful details for formal spaces, those materials and craftsmanship carry throughout the home, creating a consistent sense of quality.

At the same time, this is very much a family home. The layout balances beautiful gathering spaces with the practical needs of daily life, making it just as comfortable for an ordinary weeknight as it is for a house full of family and friends.

The result is a home that feels established and timeless, yet completely suited to the way this family lives today—traditional without feeling formal, luxurious without being precious, and designed to be enjoyed for generations on Lake Minnetonka.
