This Minnetonka project was a whole-home transformation, giving the homeowners more space, better function and an entirely new look while working with the home they already had.

The exterior was reimagined with a bold mix of black and white, strong gabled rooflines and warm natural wood at the front porch. The contrast gives the home a fresh, updated character while the wood columns and expansive porch keep it welcoming and connected to its wooded setting.

Inside, the renovation continued throughout the home. The kitchen combines warm wood cabinetry with dramatic black accents, exposed ceiling beams and subtle patterned tile, creating a space that feels modern but still has plenty of warmth and personality. The layout was reworked to better support everyday living and gathering as a family.

The scope went well beyond updating existing rooms. We added a new primary bedroom and bathroom, creating a true owner’s retreat, and finished the lower level to give the family additional living and entertaining space.
